After a long long wait, CubePoints integration with WP e-Commerce is finally here.

Download this file and put it in the “merchants” folder in the WP e-Commerce plugin folder.

Make sure you set up CubePoints as a Payment Option in the corresponding WP e-Commerce settings first. Users’ points will be automatically deducted upon purchase.

Enjoy, and please report any bugs you see. :)

Wow, great stuff!

I tried it out (haven’t used wp e-commerce in ages..) and it works as long as the customer has sufficient points stored. If the user has less points than required to check out the cart, they get thrown back to the checkout page again. In the backend this is still tracked as an order, the differene being the order status (payment accepted for successful point transactions)

So we need an error on insufficient points. I haven’t tried this with multiple gateways though, I suggest that this error integrates with the payment top up module. This can default to the cart value with an input to specify additional points to top up.

>Btw, the link for the paypal top-up settings file is down, do you have one for the 2.1.4 beta?

A problem with the E-commerce for me, is that I want to sell cd-keys to games with this points.

I can’t sell this key, beacause there are a unique numbers. If they take the key from a sheet and send a number to each customer who bought the key, I’ll be very happy =D

I’ll look into that right away. Sorry about that :) We’re working on the Paypal module right now, and will release that shortly as well :D

Hmm, well, you can always sell a virtual item, and upon purchase, send out the key manually or something. Sorry, but we aren’t planning to do modifications to the e-Commerce plugin. ;)

Works find alongside other gateways as well :)

I also found the paypal settings in the module page, seems the missing 214.zip (or what it was called is not needed anymore.

I’ve tried topping up some points (I have two paypal accounts) and it works, it took a little time, and also here the feedback to the user is something to optimize, the points showed up in a few minutes, but there is a double entry in the points log, suggesting a double callback from paypal, has anyone else experienced this?

I’m really stoked about this project, I have been looking for this functionality for ages and like where you are going with it!

i download this and it seems to work for me. But i do have some questions for this,

1. Is it possible to show just how much number of POINTS needed to buy a particular product and NOT how much in US Dollar sign?

2. Like I said, so far everything works just fine for me, (i’m not 100% sure though) but i do notice one bug, on the points transaction page, you will not see a description on where did you spend your points at. You will only see a blank description. But it will state how much points it is deducted on you based on how much you bought an item. Can this be fixed?

There seems to be a couple of bugs, at least for me.
If you do not activate another payment method, apart from cubepoints the payment option does not appear on the checkout page, so it is not possible to make the purchase.
When you activate more options and chose to pay with cubepoints it does not accept the payment. When I click purchase it says “Sorry your transaction was not accepted.” There are enough points in the user account to make the purchase.
